New Fiction Series

I’ve been working with the concept of doing a series for a while now and I’ve decided to just go ahead and jump into the thick of it. I’m really excited about this and I hope you are too.

It’s heavily influenced by Joss Whedon and Neil Gaiman and there’s a sneak peek of a character illustration on the facebook page. I wanted to add an element of noir as well so hopefully, that comes through in the writing. I don’t want to give away too much but it’s got everything from demons to presidents of home owner associations, which from my understanding, are fairly similar.

I’m working on the first issue and will be posting it hopefully by the end of this week.

And so she wrote

I’m sitting on my bed, fingers fumbling about on the decrepit keyboard of my ancient laptop, prepping to answer the following questions:

Where have I been?

How do I begin again?

Beginning of Season II

New Season

Hello wonderful followers, facebookers, and the seven to nine friends of my mother that she insists read what ever this may be. It’s wonderful to be back on MySuddenlyOkayLife! I had to take a bit of a break to get a bunch of college stuff all adjusted and ready to make important adult decisions that could affect the entire outcome of my life with the simple choice of to take Shakespeare or Minority Literature first.

I ended up taking them both at the same time. It seemed like a good idea but it ended up providing an impressive mountain of reading. I’ve learned the general idea of how to survive being a character in any form of literature seems to be universal regardless of genre.

   Rule 1. Be white.

   Rule 2. Be a man.

Rule 3. Don’t not be white.

Rule 4. If your uncle has one weird, shriveled hand, he’s probably an asshole and you shouldn’t invite him to family functions.

Brief Update

So I know you’re all waiting for the sequel to my Independence Day contingencies, but I thought I would throw caution to the wind and write about something that happened just a few short hours ago. I’m super busy this week but I will definitely try to get the sequel up tomorrow and I most likely will.

On another note, we hit 373 followers! That’s insanity!

Thank you so much for all the support on this blog! Most importantly, thank you for following and sharing. I’m just amazed. Feel free to leave feedback or suggestions. I love hearing about what you think I should do next and what I should change. Again, I’m just in awe.

In the beginning . . .

In the beginning, there was nothing.

To be honest it really should have stayed nothing because there’s a lot of messing about in this world. Much of it without purpose. Just aimless bumbling about like a bunch of Walruses that just discovered ecstasy and think they’re really cool because they listen to David Bowie. Not even good, classic, rock-god, spaceman Bowie. Like “China Girl” Bowie.  For example, this blog. This blog is dedicated to those who asked for it. It’s contents will be questionable. It’s goals will be vague, but by God here it is.
